Atlanta McDonald's Review & Giveaway-Shamrock Shake and Fish McBites

I'm excited to share with you my partnership with local area Atlanta McDonald's. I plan on giving you honest and up front reviews regarding McDonald's food.  I can already tell you my 3 year old son loves his Happy Meals. I don't feel bad buying them since they offer healthy choices like fruit and juice. My family does eat out at McDonald's a few times per month. When your a working mom, there are just some nights you don't have time to make dinner.  I always try to eat healthy and exercise several times per week, so I'm allowed to eat a few higher calorie items if I choose. I'm very glad that McDonald's now shows you how many calories you will be eating at a meal.

Today for my review I chose to try the new Fish McBites and of course the once a year treat, Shamrock Shake.  I have to say, my son loved the Shamrock shake as I did too!! Shamrock Shake began its national roll-out in early February. It will be available in all participating restaurants nationwide February - March 2013 while supplies last. The Shamrock Shake joins the McCafé line-up annually around St. Patrick’s Day for a limited time only.

The Fish McBites is a new item at McDonald's. If you looking for a new lower calorie meal, then you need to try them! Fish McBites are now featured in McDonald’s Favorites Under 400 menu. The snack and

regular sizes are both under 400 calories. Snack has 250 calories. Regular has 370 calories.  Not bad for crispy and quite yummy bites. My husband seemed to enjoy them as well. McDonald’s has eight dipping sauces available for an enhanced Fish McBites taste experience. McBites sauces are served in 1 ounce or equivalent serving sizes and include:

• Tarter – New and only available for a limited time!
• Creamy Ranch
• Honey Mustard
• Sweet Chili
• Sweet 'n Sour
• Spicy Buffalo
• Tangy Barbeque
• Chipotle Barbeque
• Hot Mustard

Fish McBites are crispy, tender pieces of pop-in-your-mouth flaky Alaska Pollock – responsibly
sourced and wild caught from sustainable fisheries. Conveniently packaged for today’s busy
